Objective

History San José preserves and enriches the cultural heritage of San José and Santa Clara Valley through research, collections, and educational programs. This organization has a research archive center and two historical site locations that visitors can visit: the Peralta Adobe & Fallon Houses and History Park.

With a group of designers and under the supervision of the art director, a new complete rebrand was created for the organization. Throughout this process, the designers worked as individuals and groups. Each designer brainstormed for the logo ideations, website redesign, brand applications, and wayfinding system. Upon the clients' and art director's feedback, different concepts were merged and combined that would be used for the final rebrand. After several rounds of ideation and presentations, the designers were separated into 4 different groups to focus on finalizing the rebrand.

Created in collaboration with a team of 14 designers and the art director.
